SALOMON TV
SALOMON TV
Salomon TV, now in its 14th season, is our flagship web series. In 15 years, we have produced over 100 episodes which have earned more than 30 million views on the internet. While viewer numbers are important to Salomon, what’s even more important is the emotional connection and engagement we are making with the viewer. For the brand, the quality of the comments on an episode is the most important unit of measure. With each episode, our goal is to inspire the viewer, move them emotionally and connect with them. Though it started as an experiment in 2007, Salomon considers Salomon TV to be its most successful marketing initiative to date.
In addition to our dedicated online following, certain short films are selected and tour with major outdoor & adventure film festivals such as, The Banff Mountain Film Festival, Mountain Film in Telluride & Kendal Mountain Film festival (to name just a few), garnering many awards along the way.
We are now in production on Season 15 of Salomon TV.
BRED is a local plant based, sourdough bakery that is re-educating people on just how good bread can taste. We worked with BRED to make a short brand video to capture their mission and pay tribute to the craft of baking sourdough.

THE BEYOND SERIES
THE BEYOND SERIES
Follow the stories of Whistler locals as they pursue their passions, explore their crafts, and feed off the energy of mountain culture in the Beyond Series, a documentary presented by Whistler Blackcomb. Skiers Eric Hjorleifson and Jen Ashton, snowboarder David Carrier Porcheron, filmmaker Mike Douglas and photographer David McColm open up their worlds and expose what drives them to discover new adventures and go beyond the ordinary conventions of everyday life.
Freeskiing couple Eric “Hoji” Hjorleifson and Jen Ashton have personal styles as unique as Whistler is to Blackcomb. Individually, they’re shaped by resolute characteristics and an extraordinary history. Together, they operate as one, united by a mutual hub that embraces the values of Whistler culture, lifestyle and heritage.
Freeskiing innovator Mike Douglas has parlayed an illustrious career as an athlete into a second-coming as a writer, filmmaker and emcee, giving a voice to the unsung stories of mountain adventures and adventurers. Whether he’s wielding a ski pole or camera lens, Douglas’s pursuit of poetic lines lends itself to a balance of Whistler’s dichotomy between action and solitude.
David McColm is not your ordinary Whistler photographer. His masterpiece time lapse images forego the familiar hero shots of big mountain athletes and picture-perfect ski models for a more artistic rendition of winter’s playground. Inspired by centrifugal skylines and mountainscapes, McColm’s quest to get the shot captures the microcosmic synergy that thrives in Whistler.
As the stalwart pioneer of snowboarding’s backcountry freestyle movement, DCP has spent a lifetime adapting to the capricious rhythm of Mother Nature. When his personal and professional relationships are met with the same cyclical zeal, DCP forges into his own hinterland and discovers that the depth of the Whistler community is as vast as the surrounding ridge lines.
